Dmitri Alperovich was born in Minsk, Belarus. He immigrated with his parents to Israel when he was 4. At the age of 12 he started his musical journey with the classic guitar and has been sent to a local music school where he was taught by Arye Leish. He passed his final exam with the highest grade among guitarists over the country and graduated in 2004. During this period, Alperovich discovered his love for composing and electric guitar as well. He started composing for classic guitar at the age of 15 and later for other instruments such as: violin, flute, vocal and bigger sections like quartet and symphonic music. At the age of 19 he got accepted to the “Rubin” academy of music and dance in Jerusalem where he studied with professors Yehuda Schryer and Irit Even-Tov. In this period, Alperovich met his musical partner Alexey Polyansky and they founded the band Seventh Station. Since then he produced 2 big tribute shows, wrote and recorded the band’s debut album, wrote a solo album, had many students, performed and recorded for local artists and collaborated with many musicians from Israel, Slovenia and United States. 

 

 

Dmitri Alperovich se je rodil v Minsku. Pri 4 letih je s starši je imigriral v Izrael. Svojo glasbeno pot je začel s klasično kitaro pri 12 letih, pouceval ga je Arye Leish. Zaključni izpit je opravil z najvišjo oceno med kitaristi iz celotne države in maturiral leta 2004. V tem obdobju je Alperovich odkril ljubezen do skladanja, prav tako pa se je navdušil nad električno kitaro. S skladanjem za klasično kitaro je začel pri 15 letih, kasneje pa se je lotil tudi skladanja za druge inštrumente kot so: violina, flavta, vokal in večje glasbene sekcije (kvartet ter simfonična glasba). Pri 19 letih je bil sprejet na Rubinovo akademijo za glasbo in balet v Jeruzalemu, kjer je študiral s profesorjema Yehudo Schryer-jem ter Irit Even-Tov-ovo. V tem obdobju je srečal svojega glasbenega partnerja, Alexey-a Polyanskega. Skupaj sta ustanovila band Seventh Station. Od takrat  je sproduciral dva velika koncerta, posvečena Pink Floydom, skupaj z Polyanskim spisal in posnel album, spisal solo album, imel veliko učencev, nastopal ter snemal z lokalnimi umetniki in sodeloval z mnogimi glasbeniki iz Izraela, Slovenije ter Združenih držav Amerike.
